Our ministries are designed to help you grow in your faith, be equipped for ministry and encourage you to share the Gospel.
Our desire is that you will be able to say with the Psalmist David, “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” (Psalm 122:1)
It is in the coming together that we are able to “...hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; he who promised is faithful, And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works...” Hebrews 10:23-25.
Choir Ministry
The Choir Ministry leads the congregation each service in worship to God. This ministry ushers us into God’s presence and is vital to the life of our church.
Singing Ministry
This ministry gives church members with a God-given vocal talent an opportunity to use their gift. This is always a great blessing in our worship services.
Gospel Preaching
We are a Pentecostal Church with the Pentecostal distinctive. We believe that the Word of God...is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. We preach the “whole gospel” and believe that the precious truths promised within are powerful and relevant for us today.
CD Ministry
Our CD ministry is located in the foyer of the church. CD’s of our services are always free of charge. The CD’s are available shortly following the worship service. Please take one and share with others who need ministered to by music and God’s Word.
Ushers Ministries
The Ushers Ministry is a vital ministry of our church. The ushers provide assistance to those attending our worship service by opening doors, handing out flyers and giving directions. These men and women serve to help in any way needed.
Other Ministries...
Missions
We support both Foreign and Home Missionaries on a monthly basis. We believe that our duty is to help fulfill the great Commission, ‘Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.” We do this through the ministry of missions.
Benevolence Ministry
Our Benevolence Ministry is an outreach that assists needy families in times of distress and disaster. This ministry provides food to suffering families, as well as offers food baskets to families in need during special seasons throughout the year. It is a very important ministry that ministers to the entire family!
Nursing Home
Our Nursing Home Ministry meets every Tuesday of the month. We visit the Marianna Convalescent Home and the Courtyard at the Mill Pond Nursing Home. We meet for these events is 10:00 a.m. (cst)
Nursery Ministries
(Ages newborn - three-years-old)At Sneads Assembly of God we are blessed to have a nursery filled with caring ladies that are also active members of our church. These workers will give your child the utmost care and attention so that you can enjoy the worship service.
Sunday School Ministry
Our Sunday School starts each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. (cst). We offer the following Sunday School classes for students of God’s Word.- Nursery Class (0-2 years)
- Beginner Class (3-5 years)
- Primary Class (6 - 8 years)
- Preteen Class (9-12 years)
- Youth (13-18 years)
- Adult Classes
Children’s Ministry
We have two classes for the Children’s Ministry. Our Children’s Ministry meets each Sunday during morning worship service.- Junior Children Church (three - five years-old)
- Senior Children Church (six - eleven years-old)
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (cst) This is a fellowship for the ladies of the our church to minister to one another through God’s Word, prayer and singing.
Honor Bound
Honor Bound meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (cst) This is a fellowship for the men of the our church to minister to one another through God’s Word, prayer and singing.
TNT - Tried N True Ministry
The Adult Ministry meets once a month. This ministry is for ages 40 to Glory! This is a great time of fellowship for our adults. Several trips and events are planned throughout the year to help encourage the adults in our church.
Young Adults
The Young Adult ministry meets the first Saturday of every month. This ministry is provided for fellowship of those ages 19 - 40. Whether single or married, this is a great time to get-together and encourage one another in the Lord.
Imagine dozens of youth from our area gathered together to celebrate their relationship with Jesus Christ.
OneWay Student Ministry
(Ages twelve - Graduation from High School)
Our Youth ministry meets each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. (cst) The worship and activities are geared to help strengthen their walk with the Lord. This is also a great time for fellowship with their peers.
Girl’s Ministry
The Girl’s Ministry meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. (cst) This ministry nurtures young girls into young women for the Lord. This is a dynamic program that equips young girl’s attitudes and spiritual development for solid Christian witnessing. Activities and events are a regular schedule for this ministry.
Royal Rangers
The Royal Rangers ministry meets each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. (cst) This is a ministry established to help grow your boys into young men. They will learn the importance of Christian character in everyday life. Activities and events are a regular schedule of this ministry.
